Hey there! It’s a common thing for everyone to get nervous especially when examinations are fast approaching! I’ve written below #theGET to follow. I hope it helps you 🤗.
Apparently, It’s okay to get nervous when it’s close to tests & examinations especially when you’ve not been reading lately. Anyways, it’s not too late to start reading & if you have not started, you can start NOW! Also, nobody is perfect and there are subjects/courses you are not too good at, instead of getting worried about everything you can meet with someone who knows it better than you do and tell them to explain to you so you can undsrstand better. You do not have to get too nervous to the extent that you start being hard on yourself! take things easy & remember it’s one step at a time. However, I’ve seen people that look really pale during examination periods and all of this is due to the fact that they do not eat well & also get enough sleep. Only a person with good health would collect certificate which means you have to eat well & rest well so that you do not fall sick. You can burn your midnight candle but make sure you rest well enough too.
Everyone knows that, to make an A is not an easy thing but it is possible. Everything is possible for all those who say ‘I will & I can’ i call it the ‘Will Courage’. It is possible this is why you have to spend more time on your books & less time on anything that distracts you easily. Most importantly, make sure you use time wisely.
At the end of the day, you gotta ace all your papers & the only way you can do that is by following theGET !! Study well & do not forget to pray before you read & also pray before you start your examinations. I wish you all the best x

“Lacking confidence erodes your self-worth and paralyses your productivity”
… Kristin Arnold
I was strolling one day in my neighborhood, there, i saw a little boy dancing side by side with a little girl, his sister probably. At the sight of my presence, the little boy stopped dancing, he became so cold and shy but the little girl continued dancing and even smiled at me while I was staring. This made me to wonder and ponder.
Looking back into the past years, I remembered that I was once like the boy. I remembered a day that I was called upon to lead a choreography in my church because I performed best during our rehearsals but I refused because of the fear of facing the congregation.
Another time, I was supposed to act in a stage play in my school as mummy junior, the moment daddy junior who was already on the stage acting called me out(mama junior) to discuss about junior according to the script, I threw up in response to his call.
That was funny right? I couldn’t act any longer. Though deep within me, I knew I could do it. I felt bad because some else had to act my role.
Another opportunity came, it was a Christmas carol this time in my school, and the girl that ought to lead our songs was a Jehovah witness and her mum refused to allow her join the carol because of her belief. So, I was called to take the role, though so much was not expected from me because of my past failure but I made up my mind to do it.
Yes, I did it and I didn’t throw up this time. My mum was proud. She saw me perform on stage and she was happy. She had gotten lots of reports and questions from my class teachers asking her if I was deaf or dumb because I usually don’t talk to anyone outside my home.
So as I grow up, I see the need for me to only concentrate on what I have to do and not on the people or what they have to say.
There are two things I discovered as to what may cause of the lack of confidence. It could either be a problem that originates from within, or induced by external factors such as peers, environment and standard of living. Any of these factors can be worked on to improve ones’ level of confidence.
Lack of confidence erodes your self-worth, it makes you settle for the less, because, you think you can’t be better or do better. It paralyzes your productivity. You have virtues and talents embedded in you but, it remains dormant because you are not confident enough to unleash it. Many are life’s challenges that will require nothing but the confidence to stand up to it and fight.
It’s time you start believing in your ability to do.
Don’t shy away from responsibilities because you think you think you are not capable. Tell yourself you can do it, dream big and make your big dream a reality …CONFIDENCE IS THE KEY!
Confidence doesn’t come by wishing, it comes by
